Kuwait The Public Authority for Industry of the State of Kuwait (PAI) has implemented the ‘Kuwait Conformity Assurance Scheme’ (KUCAS). The scheme is a combination of procedures carried out by PAI to verify the conformity of all ‘Regulated Products’ to the Kuwait’s Technical Regulations

GEO-CHEM is glad to announce that we are now authorised by Public Authority for Industry of the State of Kuwait (PAI) under the ‘Kuwait Conformity Assurance Scheme’ (KUCAS) to perform Inspection, Review and Certification processes for regulated products. Clients looking for TIR (Technical Inspection Report) and TER (Technical Evaluation Report) can now opt for GEO-CHEM services for Inspection, Review and Certification to get their Products qualified under KUCAS scheme. Our services facilitate trade to obtain necessary certification and to qualify their regulated products for Kuwait market. Furthermore, the certification process, which includes Import eligibility checks, review of application documents, physical inspection, review of test reports from accredited laboratories and review of labelling marking requirements through GEO-CHEM experts, making it easier and more efficient for clients to meet the requirements.

• ✓ To minimize the risk of rejection of the product at destination and facilitate trade.
• ✓ To confirm products under GSO regulations have GCTS and G Mark - Gulf Type Examination Certificates

Standards for conformity assessment under KUCAS

• ✓ Technical Regulations enforced in Kuwait.
• ✓ KSS (Kuwaiti Standard Specification)
• ✓ Gulf Standards (GSO)
• ✓ International Standards (ISO-, -IEC…)

The following ‘Regulated Products’ are exempted from any KUCAS conformity procedures:

• ✓ Products having ‘Kuwait Quality Mark’.
• ✓ New motor vehicles holding ‘GCC Conformity Certificates’
• ✓ Diplomatic cars imported by foreign Embassies.
• ✓ Products imported in small non-commercial quantities.
• ✓ Products imported on a temporary basis (e.g. for display purpose)
• ✓ Products forming contents of large industrial or government projects.
